The wellbeing of young musicians comes first.

The Young Strings Foundation is committed to providing a safe, supportive and respectful environment for every young person who engages with our work.

​

We recognise our responsibility to safeguard children and young people and to ensure that their welfare is considered throughout our activities - from applications and instrument trials to events, communications and the sharing of stories or photographs.

​

YSF maintains appropriate safeguarding policies and procedures, and everyone acting on behalf of the Foundation is expected to understand and follow them.

​

Where appropriate, parents or guardians are involved in our interactions with young musicians, and we seek appropriate permission before using identifiable photographs, recordings or personal stories.
